Driver Education
Ellsworth Public School uses A+ driving school for classroom driver education. Parents must register and pay A+ directly. To register for classes, please use this link: https://aplusdrivingschool.net/register-for-class/distance-learning/
Once your child has completed the classroom portion, A+ Driving School will issue a letter of completion. Bring the letter to the office to exchange it for a blue card. When your child has a blue card, the permit test can be taken. Once your child passes the permit test and goes to the courthouse to pay the fee, he/she will have their permit. Once he/she has a permit, he/she can drive with any licensed driver 21+ years old and complete their behind-the-wheel hours.
Behind-the-wheel instruction will still be provided by Ellsworth Public School. When your child is ready to complete their hours, please contact the school office at (507) 967-2242.
